Product FAQ's

Should I get a size bigger in Motocross Boots?

Motocross boots tend to run a bit on the small side. As such, it's a good idea to order a size up from your normal shoe size. Motocross boots are designed to be worn with socks. Remember that the Alpinestars Tech 10 comes with an inner bootie that also makes the fit very snug.

Are Motocross Boots a necessity?

Motocross boots are one of the most important pieces of protective equipment when riding on tracks or trails. Whether you race competitively or simply ride for fun with your friends, a good quality set of boots are needed to protect you. The boot offers protection to the leg, ankle and foot.

What is the difference between Motocross and Trials Boots?

Motocross boots are generally stiffer and more protective because there is more chance to have crashes and contact with other riders. Trials boots are typically lighter with increased flexibility to allow more precise control over the bike's foot levers.

Do you need to 'break in' the Motocross Boots?

Most Motocross Boots now are quite flexible and one of the best ways to break them in is to use them practicing before you race. However, one of the easiest ways to break in your new Motocross Boots is to wear them around the house. This will help to stretch out the leather and get your foot used to the boot.
